P30 is seeking a visionary and collaborative Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. This leader will work alongside our Board of Directors, staff, members, and community partners to advance our mission of disrupting inequality, igniting hope, and launching prosperity across Indianapolis' Far Eastside and beyond.

Organization Overview


P30 is a coworking and office space, event space, and community center located on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis, serving as a collective for businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders committed to restoring hope, opportunity, and prosperity. P30 also operates InerG Impact, a subsidiary coworking and community incubator in Anderson, Indiana, focused on
holistic community development and entrepreneurial support.


Position Summary
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive officer of P30 and its affiliated locations, providing visionary, operational, and relational leadership in alignment with the organization’s mission and values. The ED is responsible for organizational performance, sustainability, and impact, and works in close partnership with the Board of Directors to shape,
steward, and advance P30’s strategic direction.


The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and serves as an ex officio, non-voting member of the Board and its committees, except where voting authority is granted by Board policy. For InerG Impact, the ED reports to the ED of P30.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership & Board Partnership
● Lead the development, refinement, and execution of P30’s strategic plan in partnership with the Board of Directors, ensuring shared ownership, clarity of roles, and accountability.
● Translate strategic priorities into annual goals, operational plans, and measurable outcomes.
● Provide the Board with timely, transparent, and actionable information to support informed decision-making.
● Support healthy governance practices and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect between staff and Board.


Organizational Leadership & Management
● Provide overall leadership and direction for P30 and its affiliated locations, ensuring alignment across programs, operations, and culture.

● Build, lead, and retain a high-performing, values-aligned staff team; foster psychological safety, professional growth, and accountability.
● Establish and continuously improve internal systems, policies, and processes that support effective operations and sustainable growth.
● Lead through change with emotional intelligence, adaptability, and clarity.


Financial Stewardship & Sustainability
● Ensure strong financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
● Partner with the Board to ensure long-term financial sustainability and responsible risk management.
● Lead and support revenue diversification strategies, including grants, partnerships, earned revenue, and philanthropy.
● Serve as a key relationship-builder with funders, donors, and financial partners.


Programmatic Oversight & Impact
● Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services to ensure alignment with mission and strategic priorities.
● Champion outcomes-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
● Identify opportunities for program growth, innovation, and community impact.


Community Engagement & External Relations
● Serve as a visible and trusted ambassador for P30 and InerG Impact within the community and broader ecosystem.
● Cultivate strong relationships with community members, partners, civic leaders, churches, and stakeholders.
● Represent the organization publicly with integrity, clarity, and confidence.


Equity, Culture, & Values
● Lead with cultural humility and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
● Ensure organizational practices reflect P30’s commitment to wholeness—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and psychologically.

Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent lived and professional experience in nonprofit or community-based leadership.

● Demonstrated experience leading an organization or major initiative through growth, transition, or complexity.
● Strong strategic thinking skills with experience partnering effectively with a Board of Directors.
● Financial acumen, including budgeting, fundraising, and fiscal oversight.
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences.
● Experience working with or within diverse communities; familiarity with community development, entrepreneurship, or social impact organizations preferred.

Compensation


Compensation and terms of employment are determined by the Board of Directors and are commensurate with experience and organizational capacity.
